This policy explains what Cricket Goat collects, why, and what we do with it. We have tried to keep it honest and short.

What we collect

You can browse the entire Site without giving us anything.

When you make a payment, we collect:

• The name you enter
• Your email address
• Your country, if you choose to enter it
• The amount, the player you supported, and the payment identifiers Razorpay returns

What we do not collect

• We never see your card, UPI, or banking details. Those go directly to Razorpay and never reach our servers.
• We do not require an account or a password.
• We do not run advertising trackers or sell data to anyone.

Why we collect it

• To issue your receipt and apply your points to the right player
• To answer payment queries and investigate duplicate charges
• To detect and prevent fraud and payment disputes
• To meet our accounting and tax obligations

What is shown publicly

Currently, nothing you enter is displayed on the Site. Only the points total changes publicly. If we later introduce a public supporters list, it will be optional and we will update this policy before doing so.

Who else sees it

• Razorpay, our payment processor, which handles the transaction under its own privacy policy.
• Our hosting provider, which stores the data on our behalf.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose it.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.

How long we keep it

Payment records are retained for as long as required by Indian tax and accounting law, currently eight years. Everything else is deleted when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must legally retain. Contact us via the Contact page.

Cookies

We use no advertising or analytics cookies. The Site stores a single flag in your browser’s session storage so the opening animation does not replay on every page view. It never leaves your device.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Payment credentials never touch our systems. No system is perfectly secure, and we will inform affected users if a breach occurs.

Children

The Site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
